The barely noticeable shifting process takes place in fractions of a second – even at full load and when stationary. This is ensured by the electronic switching system with high-resolution torque, cadence (pedalling rate) sensors, and fine gearing. The bike automatically adapts motor assistance to the gear and detects when it needs to shift: precisely, quickly and fully automatically, depending on the setting selected.
