The Orbea tuned Shimano EP8-RS motor maximises the Denna's go-anywhere capabilities. Light weight, natural power delivery and a best-in-class battery range combine to maximize enjoyment and exhilaration.
• RS stands for Rider Synergy: Orbea's very own firmware for Shimano EP motors. It allows rider and bike to work in perfect synergy and gives the most natural ride.
• Gen 2 means that this is the second generation of our RS firmware. This increases the maximum torque to 85 Nm.
• RC is short for Road Control, our specific motor tune for Denna. Natural, powerful assistance developed specifically for narrower tires.
There are two pre-configured plus custom power delivery profiles:
Gravel - This profile offers the most natural ride and the longest range. This works best on smoother surfaces where you can maintain a higher cadence.
Gravel + - This profile is ideal for looser surfaces, where more torque is needed at lower cadences to maximise traction.
Custom – You decide how you want the assistance to come in. Push a button to get back to factory settings.
